مدير عام الهيئة العامة للكمارك يلتقي رئيس القسم الاقتصادي في سفارة الجمهورية الفرنسية لدى العراق لبحث سبل التعاون المشترك استقبل مدير عام الهيئة العامة للكمارك الدكتور ثامر قاسم داود، في مقر الهيئة، رئيس القسم الاقتصادي في سفارة الجمهورية الفرنسية لدى العراق السيد لوران إستـراد، وذلك في إطار تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية وتطوير آفاق التعاون المؤسسي بين الجانبين. وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث سبل التعاون في المجالات الاقتصادية والكمركية، ولا سيما ما يتعلق بتبادل الخبرات الفنية، وتطوير آليات العمل في المنافذ الحدودية، وتعزيز الشفافية والإجراءات الحديثة المعتمدة في الإدارة الكمركية، بما ينسجم مع أفضل الممارسات الدولية. وأكد مدير عام الهيئة العامة للكمارك حرص الهيئة على الانفتاح على التجارب الأوروبية الرصينة، والاستفادة من الخبرات الفرنسية في مجالات التحديث الإداري والتحول الرقمي، بما يسهم في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني وتعظيم الإيرادات غير النفطية. من جانبه، أبدى رئيس القسم الاقتصادي في السفارة الفرنسية استعداد بلاده لتعزيز التعاون الفني وتبادل الخبرات، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة ويسهم في تطوير بيئة العمل الاقتصادي في العراق. ويأتي هذا اللقاء ضمن توجهات الهيئة العامة للكمارك لتعزيز الشراكات الدولية، وترسيخ العمل المؤسسي القائم على التعاون وتبادل المعرفة، بما يحقق أهداف الإصلاح والتطوير المستدام قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي الهيئة العامة للكمارك العراقية Director General of the General Customs Commission Meets Head of the Economic Department at the Embassy of the French Republic in Iraq to Discuss Avenues of Joint Cooperation The Director General of the General Customs Commission, Dr. Thamer Qasim Dawood, received at the Commission’s headquarters Mr. Laurent Estrade, Head of the Economic Department at the Embassy of the French Republic in Iraq, within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and developing prospects for institutional cooperation between the two sides. During the meeting, both parties discussed avenues of cooperation in economic and customs fields, particularly with regard to the exchange of technical expertise, the development of operational mechanisms at border crossings, and the enhancement of transparency and modern procedures adopted in customs administration, in line with international best practices. The Director General of the General Customs Commission emphasized the Commission’s commitment to openness toward established European experiences and to benefiting from French expertise in administrative modernization and digital transformation, in a manner that contributes to supporting the national economy and maximizing non-oil revenues. For his part, the Head of the Economic Department at the French Embassy expressed his country’s readiness to enhance technical cooperation and exchange expertise in a way that serves mutual interests and contributes to improving the economic working environment in Iraq. This meeting comes as part of the General Customs Commission’s efforts to strengthen international partnerships and to institutionalize cooperation and knowledge exchange, in pursuit of reform objectives and sustainable development.
